The Gift of Valentine’s Day

The Gift of Valentine’s Day

Love. The most beautiful quality we possess in our humanity is the ability to love. Oftentimes we feel we need to receive love in order to be “in “ love. I have found the opposite to be true – only after seeking to receive love for decades!

Paradoxically, I have found I feel the most love and am “in” love when love is flowing through me and I am its vessel. Whether this love is in the form of feeding the animals, tending to Mother Nature’s home, being of help or service to another, writing a card, making a phone call, saying a prayer or planning a special gift or surprise for another, this is when I feel the most love.

Valentine’s Day offers us an opening in our thoughts and our hearts to ponder all of the love in our lives. This special day to focus on love offers us a gateway for its expression. We let others know they are loved and valued.

Why not make every day Valentine’s Day? When we focus on being of love and service it has an odd way of chasing us down.

As we remind ourselves daily to be a channel for love, we are activating its presence in the world.

Let love reign throughout the earth, for peace is her sister and joy her child.

Be love!

Say a Prayer For Humanity

Say a Prayer For Humanity

As we stand looking on at a world in seeming chaos, we can pause, take a breath, and choose to see it as a great crossroads. We are at a turning point . . .
. . . if we choose.
Personally, my heart and soul have had enough. It was the photo of the children in Syria who had died from apparent chemical weaponry that made me hit such a definite “line in the sand.”

Like many thousands of people around the world, I have been holding the high watch – seeing and believing love is our truth and is humanity’s ultimate destiny. I have been holding the vision of Heaven on Earth as a distinct reality – one each of us can choose.

Now what? What actions and prayers do I need to add at this critical hour? Perhaps it is in the littleness of our prayers that we make the great difference. Millions of little prayers held earnestly within millions of hearts simply praying:

Prayer for Humanity

Let love reign now in and through the earth.
Let love reign now inside of me.
Let love reign now throughout humanity.
Let love reign now throughout
the entire creative spiritual universe.
Let love reign,
For peace is her sister
And joy her child.
Let love reign – NOW!

Be the love you wish to see in the world.

Ho’oponopono & Hawaiian Energy

Meditation and class

Ho’oponopono means to make right, twice
– right with yourself and God; right with others.

You may be familiar with the abbreviated version of ho’o ponopono that was made popular in recent years by Dr. Joe Vitale. Perhaps you’ve even practiced it.

Ho’o ponopono is the ritual of deep forgiveness – at the energetic/etheric level – as passed down through lineages of Hawaiians from ancient times. For more information, go to Hawaiian Huna page and scroll to the Ho’oponopono section.

The practice of ho’oponopono is more involved than what most are familiar with.

I am delighted to share the ho’oponopono meditation and cleansing, or noa, as practiced in the halau ho’o manaloa, the school of higher learning in Kona, Hawaii on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. All the details are on the Ho’oponopono Workshop Page. I look forward to seeing you there.

Your Summer Bloom

July 2, 2013

Pushing down” an unpleasant feeling, fear or limiting belief is like covering a weed seedling with dirt and expecting it to go away. We fertilize the growth of what we least desire by doing so“.

LushGreenHere we are in the beautiful summer of 2013. Take a look inside and outside of you. What do you see, sense and feel? What seeds have grown into full bloom and are shining in the summer light in your garden of life?

If you are like most people, you probably have some wonderful aspects of life emerging from intentional efforts for change and growth. These seedlings of desire were set in place, tended and nurtured into full bloom. Marvelous! It is wonderful to experience outcomes from deliberate efforts.

And, if you are like most people, you probably have experiences and outcomes in your life you wish would just go away. Perhaps you are wondering why they showed up in your life. Unfortunately, the undesirable circumstances are those which we tend to feed and tend with great effort – whether we are consciously aware of it or not.

As unpleasant feelings or beliefs present themselves to us, it is commonplace for many to just “push them back down” inside of us. We do this because we either don’t want to feel or deal with them. Maybe we just don’t know how to resolve them. Nonetheless, all our attempts to “push down” and to ignore what is presenting itself for healing does not make it go away – at all!

Actually, it takes a great deal of mental and emotional energy to keep all of these fears, feelings, worries and limiting beliefs at bay. The energy we utilize in our attempt to put them off actually feeds and fertilizes what we least desire into fruition. Oops!

Imagine a beautiful flower garden you would like to create. One must carefully plan and select what plants are desired. The earth must be tilled. The seeds must be planted. Weeds must be removed so as not to choke out the growth of the desired blooms. Water must be given. Sunlight is required for growth.

As nature starts having its way with your garden, you will probably notice some weeds, vines maybe even seedlings of trees begin to emerge right alongside the flowers you planted. If you choose to ignore the weeds, they will continue to grow and take over the garden. If you choose to “push them back down” into the earth by covering them with more dirt, you are actually fertilizing them. If you have a great deal of emotion around their presence, you are actually watering them. This is a great metaphor for how we create the very circumstances and events in our life in a continuing pattern. It is the natural cycle and rhythm of nature.

Awareness is key. When we become aware of the presence of a “weed” inside of us, it is time to get to work on its removal. This is very empowering, for as we get our hands a little dirty and become a bit uncomfortable pulling out those weeds, the beautiful garden of life – the great desires of our heart – have room to grow into reality.

The love we hold for our dreams is the sunlight for their creation.

If you desire assistance in removing the “weeds” of anger, fear, sadness or guilt – or limiting beliefs – check out The Time Empowerment here on my web-site.

May you be filled with the wonder of beauty and love this day and always.

Be Love!

Meditation on the Light

Meditation on the Light

June 18, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Hiolani: to lean upon the heavenly light.

Happy Summer…well, almost!

Let’s ready ourselves for the Summer Solstice – the day of the year when we are at the apex of the light.

Have you considered what aspect of your life you’d like to shed some light on, to see it blossom and grow under the summer sun – then come to full harvest in autumn?

We will gather together to release those aspects of ourselves that keep us from shining and harvesting our inner-most desire. A group meditation will follow.

What to bring:

  • Bring your goal (it will be kept private)
  • A bottle of water to stay hydrated
  • Pen and paper

What we will do:

  • Write out our goal/desire/dream individual
  • Jane will conduct a group energy/healing session focused on releasing what stands in the way of your dream.
  • We will conclude with the Hiolani meditation which will empower our dream with heavenly light energy to help it along its way to us.
